vast experience, we, V.K. Industries
have emerged as a well known manufacturer, exporter, supplier and service provider in the field of
galvanizing & fabrication. We are engaged in offering various Earthing Material, Gratings, Cable Trays,
Transmission Towers, etc. These are fabricated
as per international standards and specifications in our well
equipped manufacturing plant at Wada in Maharashtra. We offer our range as per the drawings, specifications,
and requirements of the clients. We also provide Hot Dip Galvanizing, with the help of our modern galvanizing plant.
Incepted in
the year 1998, under the able guidance of our founder Mr. Deepak J.

Hot Dip
Galvanizing & Its Advantages
To help protect steel from
corrosion, we are providing Hot Dip Galvanizing facility to our clients. Galvanized steel has various properties and advantages
which makes it extremely adequate for out door exposure. During the
galvanizing process, the protective layer of zinc reacts chemically
with the steel in such a way that the layer is bonded in an extremely
strong manner with the surface of the steel. The zinc layer exposed to the
open air gradually changes into almost insoluble and protective
zinc patina. Some of the advantages of galvanized steel are:
- Weathering is
slowed down because of protective zinc patina
- Undermining does not occur
so no unexpected spots of rust appears
- On contrary to other anti-
corrosion systems, the galvanizing system is non-toxic and is not
harmful to human life
- As a result
of the cathodic effect of zinc, there will be no or only very
limited spread of corrosion when the zinc layer is damaged. Particularly on the edges of profiles and plates, it offers
unique edge coverage.
The galvanizing process is
carried out at our galvanizing plant, which is spread over a wide covered
area of 1000 sq. m. and an open area of 3000 sq. m. The plant has a galvanizing capacity of 12,000 TPA.
Quality Assurance
Offering excellent quality
products is of paramount importance to our company. It has been
our constant endeavor not to compromise on quality in any
case. For this purpose, we have adopted a stringent quality management system, which has been accredited with an ISO 9001:2000 certification. We have a quality management division that keeps a check on the
whole manufacturing process.
We
lay strong emphasis on the quality of raw material, as it ultimately
affects the quality of our final products. Our raw material is
procured from reputed mills like Steel Authority of India, Hindustan
Zinc Limited, San Vijay Rolling Mill Bhuwalka Steel, Maharahtra
Steel, Vaishnav Ispat, etc. We also have a fully equipped modern in-house laboratory, where various tests are carried out. The tests are as mentioned below:
- Stripping test- To
determine the mass of zinc coating as per IS 6745
- Copper sulphate test- To
determine the uniformity of zinc coating as per IS 2633
- Hammer test- To check
the adherence of zinc coating as per IS 2629
- Knife test- To check
the adherence of zinc coating as per IS 2629
- Coating thickness test-
To check the thickness of zinc coating with use of elcometer
Robust Infrastructure
Our
infrastructure which is the backbone of our company is spread over a
sprawling area of of 4000 Sq. Mtr. Well equipped with various
facilities to help us to develop the work flow consistently, we have
segregated our infrastructure in various units. We are proud to have
our manufacturing plant in Wada, Maharashtra which is capable of manufacturing 6000 tons of structures annually. Our unit has speedy
output because of well engineered layouts, mechanized production
equipment, and large storage facilities for steel & finished
products.
Our
company possesses latest technology and sophisticated machines to execute high volume production. Each product goes through multipurpose hydraulic machines that
can carry out various operations such as shearing, punching, notching,
and cutting. In addition, we make use of hydraulic presses, matching tools, jigs, and fixtures to ensure that bent items are handled without any distortion. All machines are equipped to process steel conforming to
various specifications such as IS ISO, ASTM, JIS, DIN, etc. Also, for the material handling purpose, we make use of efficient cranes.
